BARD Issue

We’re aware of a problem affecting BARD downloads when accessed through the library catalog. At this time, clicking a BARD title brings you to the login page, but after signing in, the download does not begin. We are working on a fix. In the meantime, please use this workaround:

* Go directly to BARD

* Log in with your BARD account

* Search for your title and download from there

We know many of you prefer searching through the catalog, and we’re here to help if you need guidance using BARD directly.

Talking Book Topics (TBT) is published by the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, Library of Congress. TBT is published bi-monthly and lists the newest titles added to the collection, available through the library or the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service.

Selections from Talking Book Topics. We have created two condensed large print versions you can subscribe to. They are published every two months and should be available by the middle of the month when they are released. For example, November/December was made available by the middle of November.

Each edition includes at least 5 books from popular genres, determined by the majority of our library patron's preferences. We have created fiction and non-fiction versions.

Fiction:

     - Mystery & Detective, Romance, Historical Fiction, Suspense & Thrillers, and Westerns.

Non-fiction:

     - Biography, U.S. History, World History, Religion and Science.
